Dance

Aria Dance & Cheer is proud to offer instruction in the following dance styles for ages toddlers through teenagers. Please see the schedule for specific class times.

 BALLET

An artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures.

JAZZ

The steps and essential style originated from dances of Africans brought to America. Originally, any dance done to jazz music, including both tap dance and jitterbug. 

TAP

A form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.  

COMBO-BALLET/TAP

A combo class of ballet, an artistic dance form using formalized steps and tap, a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.

HIP HOP

 Street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

HIP HOP FOR BOYS

 Exclusively for boys, this street dance style is primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

LYRICAL

A style of dance created by merging ballet, jazz and contemporary dance techniques. 

TUMBLE & TWIRL

A combo class of tumbling, the art of performing acrobatic tumbles and ballet, an artistic dance form using formalized steps and gestures.

TUMBLING

The act, practice, or art of performing acrobatic tumbles.
